New headquarters for worlds leading supplier of thermal desorption equipment

As part of its continued expansion, Markes International Ltd. is pleased to announce a move to brand new premises on the Gwaun Elai Medi Science Campus in Llantrisant, South Wales.

Formed in 1997, Markes International Ltd. is one of the worlds leading suppliers of thermal desorption equipment and related sampling accessories for monitoring trace toxic and odorous chemicals in air, gas or materials. Serving fast growing markets from environmental health & safety to materials testing and from food/flavour/fragrance to defence/forensic, Markes’ global customer base includes major industry, regulatory agencies, academia, military/civil defence, forensic science and the service laboratory sector.

Over the last 8 years, Markes has won several awards for innovation and export and has seen rapid growth in its business both at home and overseas. Markes now employs over 30 skilled staff in Llantrisant and 85% of its business is exported to all regions of the globe.

Markes' new headquarters in Llantrisant houses research and development, laboratory facilities, manufacturing, and sales/marketing offices.
