Standard methods relating to construction products
Methods for construction products require chemical emissions from representative samples to be tested under simulated real-world conditions.
Testing is carried out at a prescribed, near-ambient temperature and under a flow of pure, humidified air. VOCs and SVOCs emitted by the sample pass into the chamber/cell air and are collected at specific times using sorbent tubes (or DNPH cartridges for formaldehyde monitoring).
