Markes will be showcasing its new TOF MS technologies at two European events this week and next:
The first, the 20th International Mass Spectrometry Conference (IMSC), is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 24–29 August, and features a technical program highlighting the latest developments in mass spectrometry. Markes’ TOF MS specialist Dr Leonhard Pollack will be presenting two posters, both in the Poster Exhibition room on Level –1.
- Enhanced screening of environmental pollutants in complex matrices by GCxGC-TOF MS with variable-energy electron ionisation on 27 August.
- Enhanced aroma profiling by GC-TOF MS with variable-energy electron ionisation on 28 August.
The second conference is Mass Spectrometry: Applications to the Clinical Lab (MSACL), being held in Salzburg, Austria, from 2–5 September. The conference is a European off-shoot of the highly successful US conference that has been held in San Diego since 2008, and aims to provide a forum for discussing the clinical applications of mass spectrometry by bringing together a diverse range of academic and industrial experts. Dr Leonhard Pollack will again be in action, presenting a poster in the Exhibit Hall:
- An innovative variable-energy electron ionisation technology applied to GC-TOF MS metabolomics applications on 3, 4 and 5 September
